During my previous life as a graphic designer I often worked with studio based photographers, art directing and sometimes styling shoots for clients. These days I hold the camera, shooting a wide range of subjects, almost entirely on location, preferring to use natural light where I can. Regular visits to Portugal between 2010 and 2014, and subsequent book project 'Two Hundred Days', helped cement my interest in capturing the lives of ordinary and extraordinary people, which has since been affirmed by various personal projects such as 'Rich Pickings', a year in the life of a market gardener.
